Computer Science & Engineering

Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been successfully functioning since 2001. Provides high quality educational programs by maintaining a balance between theoretical and experimental aspects of computer science .The Department has state-of-the-art infrastructure and computing equipment supported by high speed Ethernet and wireless networks. Department is committed to encourage students to carry out innovative research in the field of Computer Science & Engineering, keeping excellence in focus and deliver quality services to match the needs of the technical education system, industry and society. Faculty of CSE are always dedicated and devoted towards the comprehensive development of their students by training them physically through enough sports & games; psychologically through technical competitions globally.

The department offers the following programs:

• B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (8 semesters) with an intake of 120 per year.

• M.Tech/ M.E. (4 semesters) with an intake of 18 per year in each of the following specializations.

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) is dedicated for ensuring great careers for its students. The excellent infrastructure, teaching faculty of the best kind of the Department ensuring quality education such as interaction among students, parents and staff, along with a Training and Placement Cell ensures a bright future to its students. Department places emphasis on all the important aspects of computers such as Computer Networks, Algorithm Design, Operating System, Advance Database Systems, Theory of Computation , Computer Graphics, Cloud Computing, Data Science, Machine Learning and many more. Department takes the initiative to improve the soft skills, analytical capabilities and verbal communication of the students so that they can face the competition in the corporate world confidently. To meet the objectives, department pays special emphasis on teaching and hands on practical work. Students of Computer Science and Engineering are placed with top IT companies. We as a team resolve to take the Department to heights of success and glory and prepare for the forthcoming challenges.

Program Outcome

  1. Engineering Knowledge : Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  2. Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  5. Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
  6. The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  7. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
  8. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
  9. Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
